In Aksaray, a drunk driver who was involved in an accident attacked police officers who requested identification, along with two of his relatives. While the driver kicked the police chief, three suspects were neutralized by the police teams. The driver's blood alcohol level was found to be 2.60 promille.

The light commercial vehicle with license plate 68 ACL398, driven by Serkan S., rear-ended the car with license plate 40 DL 670, driven by Ümmet Eğritaş (33). Serkan S. got out of the vehicle and fled the scene. Bystanders reported the situation to the police. While traffic police were conducting an investigation at the accident site, Serkan S. and his relatives Sait S. and Rahmi S. arrived at the scene.
