A person who allegedly climbed an electricity pole to commit theft in the Nilüfer district of Bursa died after being electrocuted.

ELECTROCUTED ON THE POLE HE CLIMBED FOR THEFT
The incident occurred on Pınar Street in the Gümüştepe neighborhood of the Nilüfer district. Allegedly, a suspect named Faruk Ç. climbed the electricity pole for the purpose of theft. The suspect, who climbed the pole, was suddenly electrocuted. Citizens who saw the motionless person on the pole immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
DIED AT THE SCENE
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. In the examination conducted by the health teams, it was determined that Faruk Ç. had lost his life at the scene.
While police teams took extensive security measures in the area, an investigation was initiated regarding the incident. Meanwhile, it was learned that the deceased suspect had previously had files for 2 thefts and 2 drug offenses.
