The expert report regarding the murder of the former president of the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation and Hacettepe University faculty member Assoc. Dr. Sinan Ateş has been prepared. The report states that all the bullets that killed the victim Ateş came from a single weapon.

IT WAS ALLEGED THAT SOMEONE ELSE FIRED

The expert report regarding which weapon the bullets that killed the victim Ateş came from has emerged in the case concerning the murder of the former president of the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation and Hacettepe University faculty member Assoc. Dr. Sinan Ateş. According to the prepared report, all the bullets that hit the victim Sinan Ateş came from the weapon of the shooter Eray Özyağcı. The autopsy report also indicated that no bullet had hit Sinan Ateş from behind. In their defense during the trial, Eray Özyağcı and Doğukan Çep claimed that someone else had also fired, asserting that the bullet that killed Sinan Ateş did not come from Özyağcı's weapon.

It was understood that Eray Özyağcı, who arrived at the scene around noon on the day of the incident, waited standing for approximately 35 minutes. It was stated that Sinan Ateş was walking towards 1436th Street with Ahmet Keçik on his right and Selman Bozkurt on his left. During this time, it was reported that the shooter Eray Özyağcı fired at the victim Ateş while hiding in front of a light commercial vehicle, causing Ateş to fall face down on the ground.

It was later stated that Özyağcı also fired at Bozkurt, injuring him, while Keçik hid behind the light commercial vehicle to protect himself. After the attack, Özyağcı ran away from the scene, while Ahmet Keçik fired at the shooter from behind. During this time, it was understood that Bozkurt came to the side of the fallen Ateş.

The report indicated that no one other than the shooter Eray Özyağcı fired at the victim Sinan Ateş, while it was noted that Özyağcı also fired at Keçik and Bozkurt. It was described that Selman Bozkurt bent down at the spot where Sinan Ateş was lying and gave something to Ahmet Keçik, but it was unclear from the footage what the item was.
