According to the information obtained, the incident occurred around 23:00 in the Başpınar Apartment on İstiklal Street in the Gülyurt neighborhood.
STABBED HIS OLDER BROTHER IN THE CHEST
A dispute broke out for an unknown reason between C.D. (31), who lived in the same house, and his older brother Gökhan Doğruyol (32). As the argument escalated, C.D. stabbed his older brother Gökhan Doğruyol in the chest. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
DIED
Gökhan Doğruyol, who was taken to Sivas Numune Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions and died. The suspect C.D., who fled the house after the incident, was caught and detained near the train station as a result of the police team's efforts. The lifeless body of Gökhan Doğruyol was taken to the Sivas Cumhuriyet University Morgue for an autopsy. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
