Recep Eker, known by his stage name "Reckol," went to the island to perform at a hotel in the TRNC on New Year's Eve. During a search conducted by police in Eker's vehicle, illegal drugs were found. Following this incident, the 24-year-old rapper was taken into custody.

CONFESSED TO USING DRUGS FOR 4 YEARS

In his statement during the custody process, Reckol admitted that he had been using drugs for 4 years. Although he confessed, "I use certain medications under a doctor's supervision in Turkey," Reckol could not escape the charges of possession of illegal drugs and acting contrary to the Pharmacy Law.
