CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS AND ACCESS BLOCKING DECISIONSThe CMB decided to impose a total administrative fine of approximately 3.9 million lira on 6 individuals as a result of the investigation regarding the transactions conducted in the stock markets of Sekuro Plastik Ambalaj Sanayi AŞ (SEKUR) and İntema İnşaat ve Tesisat Malzemeleri Yatırım ve Pazarlama AŞ (INTEM). An administrative fine exceeding 32.2 million lira was imposed on 18 individuals regarding transactions conducted in the stock market of Ünlü Yatırım Holding AŞ (UNLU). As a result of the investigation regarding transactions conducted in different stock markets, an individual was fined 14.9 million lira. As a result of the investigations under the Capital Markets Law No. 6362 (SPKn) and relevant legislation, it was decided to file a criminal complaint against an individual for "conducting unauthorized capital market activities." The Board also decided to carry out the necessary legal procedures to block access to 26 websites that were found to be providing unauthorized cryptocurrency asset services to individuals residing in Turkey and were determined to have facilitated leveraged transactions abroad.
