The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the inflation data for October. Accordingly, inflation increased more than expected in October, reaching 2.88%, while annual inflation reached 48.58%. Thus, the revaluation rate applicable for the year 2025 was calculated to be 43.93%.

IMEI REGISTRATION FEE WILL BE 45,614 TL

According to the relevant data, many items will see price increases in the new year. The IMEI registration fee, which is currently 31,692 TL in 2024, will be updated to 45,614 TL as of 2025. This increase will also affect many items such as driver's licenses, passports, Motor Vehicle Tax (MTV), and income tax.

IMEI registration refers to the process of registering the IMEI numbers of mobile devices purchased from abroad with the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK) in order to use them in Turkey.
