The plane carrying President Erdoğan overshot the runway at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport. After waiting for a while over the Red Sea, the plane later landed at the airport. Responding to the invitation of Egyptian President Abdulfattah el-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, President Erdoğan, along with his delegation, moved to the International Exhibition Center where the "Sharm el-Sheikh Summit for Peace" will be held regarding the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza.
ERDOĞAN WILL HOLD CONSULTATIONS WITH COUNTRY LEADERS
President Erdoğan was personally welcomed by Egyptian President Sisi at the entrance of the conference center where the summit will take place. Erdoğan is expected to participate in the signing ceremony of the Sharm el-Sheikh Agreement and hold consultations with the leaders of the participating countries during the summit.
