Bozdağ said, 'I had no grudge against him. I loved him very much, and he loved me too. I don't understand why he did it.' The neighbor, who was taken into custody, was released after giving his statement.

BITE OFF NEIGHBOR'S FINGER
The incident occurred on April 7 in the Cüneyde neighborhood of the district. İsmail Bozdağ was attacked by his neighbor A.E. (47) as they got off the bus together and entered the elevator of their apartment building. Bozdağ's right little finger was bitten off by A.E. Bozdağ was taken to the hospital by another neighbor with his finger in hand. The reattached finger did not take, so it was amputated. A.E., who was detained after Bozdağ's complaint, was released after giving a statement.
"I LOVED HIM A LOT, AND HE LOVED ME TOO"
Describing his experience, İsmail Bozdağ said, "I was coming from the market with my neighbor on the same bus. I got off the bus with A.E., and he followed me off. We got into the same elevator in the apartment building. When the elevator reached his floor, the door opened, but he didn't get off. When he didn't get off, I said, 'Why didn't you get off?' He said, 'Mind your own business,' and punched me, and we started fighting inside the elevator. During that, he bit my hand. When he bit my hand, he didn't let go until my finger was severed. When I started screaming, he pulled my hand out of his mouth. My finger was severed. Then I asked my neighbor Ali for help. When Ali came, he separated us. They took me to the hospital, where they reattached it. After reattachment, it didn't take. It then turned gangrenous. So they amputated my finger. There was no animosity between us. I loved him a lot, and he loved me too. Why he did it, I don't understand," he said.
