CEASEFIRE DECISION FROM THE TERRORIST ORGANIZATION
Following Öcalan's call, the PKK terrorist organization announced that it declared a ceasefire, stating, "We fully agree with the content of the call and declare that we will comply with and implement the requirements of the call from our side. We are declaring a ceasefire effective from today."
FIRST COMMENT FROM THE DEM PARTY
The first comment from the DEM Party regarding the terrorist organization's ceasefire decision and statements also came. Pervin Buldan, a member of the DEM Party İmralı Committee and a DEM Party Member of Parliament, stated in remarks to journalist İsmail Saymaz, "I think this is a valuable response. From the beginning, they expressed that they would stand by Öcalan. But they also indicate that Öcalan's conditions need to change. If these steps are taken, I don't think there will be any issues."
