ÖZEL: WE WILL WIN TOGETHER
CHP leader Özel shared photos from the meeting on his social media account, stating, "We are together. We will be together, we will win together. Turkey will win."
FIRST INFORMATION FROM THE TRIPLE SUMMIT HAS ARRIVED
On the other hand, initial information regarding the meeting has started to come in. It was stated that it was decided not to step back from the primaries at the critical summit. However, it was suggested that there was no change in Mansur Yavaş's stance, who previously stated, "It is too early to determine a candidate." It was noted that there was a consensus on CHP Chairman Özgür Özel sharing the decision from the PM meeting with the public at the group meeting to be held on February 12, Tuesday.
A ROADMAP WILL BE DETERMINED
Today, the agenda of the PM, which will start at 12:00 at the party headquarters, will be early election strategies. The roadmap for the primaries will also be determined at the PM. According to the directive work led by Gül Çiftçi, the party's MYK member responsible for Election and Legal Affairs, approximately 1.6 million members will cast their votes at ballot boxes to be set up in district centers instead of digital platforms. There will also be a requirement to collect a certain number of signatures to be eligible to be a candidate. Just like in the elections conducted under the supervision of the Supreme Election Council, sealed ballots and envelopes will be used. The entire process is expected to be completed within a 30-35 day timeline, while all these details will be discussed and put to a vote at the PM.
