The spokesperson of Hamas's military wing, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, made important statements following the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement signed between Hamas and Israel.
"THE GREAT SACRIFICES OF OUR PEOPLE AND THE BLOOD SHED WILL NOT BE IN VAIN"
In his statement regarding the prisoner exchange and ceasefire agreement, Abu Ubaida said, "It has been 471 days since the historic Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, which drove the final nail into the coffin of the temporary occupation. The great sacrifices of our people and the blood shed will not be in vain."
"Our people made unprecedented sacrifices for freedom and sacred values for 471 days. The Al-Aqsa Flood Operation began on the outskirts of Gaza but changed the face of the entire region and introduced new equations in the conflict with the occupation," he stated.
"ISRAEL'S VIOLATION WILL ENDANGER THE PROCESS"
Conveying that they are adhering to the agreement, Abu Ubaida said, "We fought against Israel for 15 months with our brotherly forces. We presented a strong image of resistance. We are adhering to the ceasefire agreement. Israel must also comply; Israel's violation will endanger the process."
