Expressing that the sentences brought some relief to their hearts, Göktaş stated, "We had promised to closely follow the process to ensure that those responsible for our beloved Narin, whose pain hurts all of our hearts, are punished in the heaviest way possible, and we have fulfilled this promise with determination. Our lawyers, including our General Director of Legal Services, attended all hearings, embraced Narin as if she were their own child, and worked diligently for justice to be served. No decision can bring back our child Narin, but the sentence given to the defendants has brought some relief to our hearts," she said.
