The first words from Murat Kurum, who has been appointed as the Minister of Environment.

According to the appointment decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Erdogan, Murat Kurum, who previously held the same position, took the vacant seat left by Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki.

FIRST STATEMENT FROM MURAT KURUM

After taking office, Minister Kurum made his first statement on his social media platform X account. Thanking President Erdogan, Kurum used the following expressions in his post; "I have been reappointed as the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change with the appreciation and approval of our esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"OUR EFFORT IS TO ACHIEVE TURKEY'S CENTURY GOALS"

I express my gratitude to President Erdogan for deeming us worthy of this honorable duty. Our effort, endeavor, and struggle are to achieve Turkey's Century goals under the leadership of President Erdogan.

Like our Minister Mehmet Özhaseki, whom we will take over from, we will continue to work and run in every corner of our 81 provinces, especially in the cities where the disaster of the century occurred. May our Lord not embarrass us in this sacred duty we have undertaken for our dear nation."
