According to the appointment decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Erdogan, Murat Kurum, who previously held the same position, took the vacant seat left by Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki. FIRST STATEMENT FROM MURAT KURUMAfter taking office, Minister Kurum made his first statement on his social media platform X account. Thanking President Erdogan, Kurum used the following expressions in his post; "I have been reappointed as the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change with the appreciation and approval of our esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
