The Turkish Football Federation announced that the Ziraat Turkey Cup will be played in a knockout format starting from the 2026-27 season. The cup will include 5 qualifying rounds, the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final stage.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that the Ziraat Turkey Cup will be played in a knockout format starting from the 2026-27 season.

FORMAT CHANGE

According to the federation's statement, the Turkey Cup will consist of 5 knockout rounds, the last 16 round, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final stage.

The semi-final matches will be played in a two-leg knockout format, while the other rounds will be played in a single-leg knockout format. The knockout rounds and the final stage will be completed over a total of 10 cup weeks.
