The funeral of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, scheduled for tomorrow, will bring together President Joe Biden and elected President Donald Trump. FORMER PRESIDENTS WILL ALSO ATTENDThe state ceremony for Carter, who passed away on December 29, 2024, is expected to be attended by President Biden and elected President Trump, as well as former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton. Most recently, former U.S. President George H.W. Bush's funeral in 2018 saw the current president and former presidents come together. PRIVATE FUNERAL SERVICEA formal ceremony for Carter will be held tomorrow at the Washington National Cathedral. After the official ceremonies in the capital are completed, Carter's remains will be taken back to Georgia, where he will be buried following a private funeral service at the Maranatha Baptist Church in his hometown of Plains, attended only by family and close friends.
