HE WILL WITHDRAW HIS PARTY FROM THE GOVERNMENTFar-right Minister Ben-Gvir stated in a press release that he would withdraw his Jewish Power Party from the government if the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, which will be voted on in the narrow security cabinet tomorrow, comes into effect. Ben-Gvir said, "If this reckless agreement is approved and implemented, the Jewish Power Party will no longer be part of the government and will withdraw from it." Minister Ben-Gvir had previously invited the other far-right coalition member, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, to cooperate in preventing the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in Gaza. THE CABINET WILL MEET TOMORROWIt has been reported that the narrow security cabinet in Israel will meet tomorrow to approve the agreement after resolving disputes regarding the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in Gaza. In the Israeli Parliament, Smotrich's Religious Zionism Party, which has 7 seats, and Ben-Gvir's Jewish Power Party, which has 6 seats, can reach a majority sufficient to overthrow the government if they cooperate. According to the Israeli political system, the government must have at least 61 members of parliament, and the current government holds 68 of the 120 seats in the Parliament.
