Education has been suspended for 1 day in Bartın and Zonguldak due to adverse weather conditions.

1 DAY BREAK IN EDUCATION IN BARTIN

Bartın, which is among the 21 provinces for which the meteorology has issued a yellow code rain warning, has announced that schools will be closed for 1 day. Warnings have been issued repeatedly in the city, urging citizens to be cautious about floods, water inundation, and overflow.

In a statement made by the Bartın Governorship, it was stated that "Considering the adverse weather conditions across our province based on meteorological data, education and training in all private and public educational institutions in the province will be suspended for 1 (one) day on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Disabled and pregnant personnel working in public institutions will also be considered on administrative leave for 1 (one) day on October 1, 2024."

BREAK IN EDUCATION IN ZONGULDAK AS WELL

Education has been suspended for 1 day in Zonguldak due to adverse weather conditions. In a statement made on the governorship's social media account, it was noted that due to adverse weather conditions, education in public, private formal and non-formal educational institutions, special education and rehabilitation centers, and special education courses in the city will be suspended for one day on Tuesday, October 1. Additionally, disabled and pregnant public personnel will also be considered on administrative leave on the specified date.
