The Turkish Grain Board has announced the hazelnut purchase prices. Accordingly, for the 2025-2026 season, based on 50% sound inshell hazelnuts, 200 TL will be paid for Giresun quality and 195 TL for Levant quality.
The eagerly awaited hazelnut purchase price has been announced. The price for Giresun quality hazelnuts will be 200 TL per kilogram.
200 TL WILL BE PAID FOR GİRESUN QUALITY HAZELNUTS
The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has determined the purchase prices for in-shell hazelnuts for the 2025/2026 season. In a statement from TMO, it was noted that the prices were set at 200 TL for Giresun quality and 195 TL for Levant quality based on 50% sound inner hazelnut.
The statement included the following expressions: "Additionally, for high-yielding hazelnuts (over 50% yield), an additional price of 4 TL/kg will be given for Giresun quality and 3.90 TL/kg for Levant quality for each +1 yield. The Turkish Grain Board has completed all technical infrastructure, storage, personnel, and financing preparations for hazelnut purchases. Purchases of in-shell hazelnuts will begin on August 25 and will be conducted by appointment as in previous years. Appointments can be made starting from August 18 through TMO workplaces or via https://randevu.tmo.gov.tr or E-Government. Our producers need to take utmost care to dry their products to avoid problems due to humidity when delivering products to TMO. We wish our producers a fruitful new harvest season and good luck with the in-shell hazelnut purchase prices."
