The tragic event occurred in the Kapaklı district of Tekirdağ. 23-year-old nurse Begüm Tonguz was found dead in her home. It is believed that Tonguz died of a heart attack, and it was revealed that she called the 112 Emergency Call Center for help when she fell ill and left the door open for the teams to enter easily.

The incident, which took place in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of the district yesterday afternoon, involved Begüm Tonguz, who worked as a nurse at a private hospital in Çerkezköy. She fell ill at home. Police and medical teams, who were dispatched to the address following a report, found the nurse dead in her home where she lived alone. The lifeless body of Tonguz, who is believed to have died of a heart attack, was taken to the Tekirdağ Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy after the examination by the prosecutor and police.

Begüm Tonguz's body was taken by her relatives to Keşan after the autopsy procedures today. During the funeral prayer at Yörüker Mosque, her father Tahsin Tonguz and relatives received condolences. The funeral ceremony was attended by Begüm Tonguz's family and relatives, as well as Keşan Mayor Mehmet Özcan, AK Party Edirne Provincial Deputy Chairman Adnan Vural, AK Party Keşan District Chairman Savaş Pekdemir, colleagues, and citizens. Tonguz's funeral was buried in Keşan Asri Cemetery with tears after the funeral prayer held at noon.
