In the Akşehir district of Konya, a person lost their life while trying to rescue their mother from a burning house after initially escaping the flames, while the mother was injured.
According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an undetermined reason in a detached house located in the Sorkun neighborhood. Upon noticing the fire, the situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
ENTERED THE FLAMES TO SAVE HIS MOTHER, LOST HIS LIFE
Upon the notification, fire, medical, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. In the fire, İbrahim Aysal lost his life, while his mother Fatma Aysal was injured. It was learned that İbrahim Aysal re-entered the house to save his mother after escaping, but he entered the wrong room and was caught in the flames, resulting in his death.
It was reported that Aysal's other sibling later managed to get their mother out of the house. The injured mother, Fatma Aysal, was taken to the hospital.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
The fire department teams controlled and extinguished the fire, while an investigation was conducted by the prosecutor's office at the scene. The body of İbrahim Aysal, who lost his life, was taken to the Akşehir State Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
After the fire, the house became uninhabitable, and an investigation was initiated.
