After the discovery of a baby corpse thrown in a bag inside a trash container in the Mut district of Mersin, the camera recordings that emerged during the investigation revealed a chilling truth. The incident occurred yesterday on Meydan Street in the Meydan neighborhood of the district. According to the information received, 50-year-old Cennet Sünbül, who collects waste materials, encountered the lifeless body of a baby wrapped in a cloth while rummaging through the trash container. Upon Sünbül's notification, health and police teams arrived at the scene. After the examination by the police and the prosecutor, the baby's lifeless body was taken to the morgue by a funeral vehicle. POLICE IDENTIFIED FROM CAMERA RECORDINGSTeams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch and the District Police Department conducted an investigation related to the incident. In the investigation, the camera recordings of the city security management system at the point where the baby's lifeless body was thrown away were examined. It was revealed that 21-year-old Y.Ç., who had rented a house in the district 14 days ago under the pretense of 'I started working at an institution,' had thrown the baby’s lifeless body in a trash bag. Following this, the police learned that Y.Ç., who left home with her mother F.Ç. after the incident, went to her father's house located in the central district of Akdeniz. The police raided the house and took the baby's mother Y.Ç., grandmother F.Ç., and grandfather M.Ç. into custody. The three suspects were referred to the courthouse after their statements at the police station in Mut district. EVERYTHING WAS PLANNED WITH HER MOTHERWhile the investigation regarding the incident continues, it is claimed that the baby's mother Y.Ç. became pregnant while she was in Tokat, told her mother about the situation, and then they implemented such a plan. It was learned that the father M.Ç. stated that he was unaware of the incident.
