The accident occurred in the evening on the Kırıkkale-Kayseri D765 highway at the Baghdad Bridge. According to the information obtained, the fire truck, driven by M.E., swerved and became trapped in the gap between the two bridges after a tire burst while in motion.

The fire truck belonging to the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation stopped just meters away from the high voltage wires of the Eastern Express train line passing directly beneath the bridge, preventing a potential disaster.
In the accident, the driver and two fire personnel named O.C. and H.C. were injured. Upon notification, health, police, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances after the initial intervention at the scene. An investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
