A young woman lost her life at a chicken farm in İzmir when her hood got caught in an egg collection machine.

A horrific death incident occurred yesterday around 11:00 AM at a chicken farm located in the Ilıpınar neighborhood of the Foça district in İzmir.

HOOD GOT CAUGHT IN THE MACHINE

According to allegations, Semra Yıldırım (32), who was working at the farm, got the hood of her clothing caught in the egg collection machine while in the coop. Her colleagues, noticing the situation, immediately intervened and then notified the 112 Emergency Call Center.

SHE LOST HER LIFE

The young woman, who was severely injured, was taken by ambulance to Menemen State Hospital, where she lost her life despite all the efforts of the doctors. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the incident.
