Following the death of master artist Ferdi Tayfur, Tele 1 presenter Musa Özuğurlu's remarks, "Ferdi Tayfur is dead, and everyone is praising him. He was terrible artistically. We are talking about someone who made weepy arabesque music," received significant backlash on social media. Tayfur's fans reacted to Özuğurlu with comments like, "You have no respect for the deceased, nor for their admirers."

One of the unforgettable names of Arabesque music, Ferdi Tayfur, passed away at the age of 79 in the hospital where he was being treated in Antalya. While the death of the master artist saddened the art community and his fans, the words of Tele 1 presenter Musa Özuğurlu regarding Tayfur drew reactions.

"ARTISTICALLY TERRIBLE"

Özuğurlu, regarding Ferdi Tayfur's death, stated, "Ferdi Tayfur is dead, everyone is praising him. He was terrible artistically. We are talking about someone who made a tearful Arabesque. From a musical perspective, it was terrible, I mean, that much." He attracted attention with his remarks.

Following these words, comments from the famous artist's fans flooded social media platforms. Users commented, "If he had given the alms of his art, he would have revived today's artists," "Everyone is free in their appreciation, but if you were going to say it, you should have said it while he was alive," and "Whether you like them or not, artists like Müslüm Gürses, Ferdi Tayfur, Zeki Müren, and Orhan Gencebay cannot be easily replaced."

Ferdi Tayfur was born on November 15, 1945, in Adana. Tayfur gained the love of millions with his hit songs such as "Bırakın Gitsin," "Emmoğlu," "Bana Sor," and "Huzurum Kalmadı." In addition to his music career, Tayfur also achieved significant success in the cinema world and is considered one of the pioneers of Arabesque music.
