A family living in the Hasköy district of Muş is experiencing nightmare-filled days due to snakes nesting in cracks in their home's foundation and occasionally seeping into rooms through the toilet drain. Family members, stating that they cannot sleep at night out of fear because of snakes reaching up to 3 meters in length and are worried for their children, are awaiting urgent help from authorities.
A snake invasion that rivals horror movies is occurring in the Bahçelievler Neighborhood of Muş's Hasköy district. A family living in the neighborhood is trapped in their own home due to snakes surrounding their house's perimeter, foundation, and attic.
The desperate family members, who stated they have been trying to fight the snakes on their own for a long time, said the snakes' entry points into the house have now reached a frightening level. The family claimed that besides doors and windows, snakes even sneak into the house from time to time through toilet drains, and they had to remove up to two snakes from the rooms on some days. While great panic prevails in the house, especially with young children present, the residents described their horror with these words: "We are experiencing great unease because there are children in the house. Snakes can appear before us at any moment. Fear keeps us from sleeping at night; we cannot rest comfortably."
CRACKS IN THE FOUNDATION BECAME SNAKE NESTS
Citizens stated that many snakes have nested in the stone gaps and wall cracks in the foundation of the house, claiming that some snakes they have seen are about 3 meters long and quite thick. Family members, who constantly encounter snakes nose-to-nose along the walls and in the garden, expressed that they now even take their steps fearfully when entering or leaving the house.
NEIGHBORHOOD ALSO ON ALERT: CALL TO AUTHORITIES
The snake infestation in the area is not limited to just this house. Residents of the Bahçelievler Neighborhood, noting a significant increase in the snake population throughout the neighborhood recently, argued that the situation requires an antidote or expert intervention. The neighborhood residents demand that agricultural and municipal teams urgently conduct a detailed inspection in the area and initiate necessary spraying and precautionary measures against this threat to environmental health and safety. The anxious family awaits a helping hand from authorities to end this fear as soon as possible.
