The identities of the six individuals who lost their lives in a fire at a perfume filling facility in the Dilovası district of Kocaeli have been revealed. It has been reported that Şengül Yılmaz, Tuğba Taşdemir, Cansu Esetoğlu, Nisa Taşdemir, Esma Gigan, and Hanım Gülekin lost their lives in the fire. New details have emerged regarding the fire that broke out in a 5-story perfume warehouse located in the Dilovası district of Kocaeli.

A fire broke out at a 2-story perfume filling facility in the Mimar Sinan neighborhood at 09:00. The fire, which started for unknown reasons, quickly grew. The flames also spread to the roof of a building next to the workplace. Citizens reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notification, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams that arrived shortly extinguished the fire.

Mehmet Düzgüner, a resident of the neighborhood, stated that he extinguished a burning worker with a hose at the moment the incident occurred, saying, "There was an explosion, and when I went outside, I saw one person on fire. I extinguished the person with the hose in the garden. I heard voices from inside, but I couldn't go in because of the fire. They say there were 4-5 people inside. I could hear screams from inside, but I couldn't enter," he said.
