The Yayladağı district was shaken by a magnitude 4 earthquake, and the footage captured by security cameras revealed the severity of the incident. After the earthquake, citizens commented, "We thought we had forgotten the earthquake, but it has returned" and "This earthquake reminded us of the night of February 6."

According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a tremor measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 07:08, with its epicenter in the Yayladağı district of Hatay. It was determined that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 13.3 kilometers.

The tremor, which affected all of Hatay and caused short-term panic in surrounding provinces, reminded people of the night of February 6, while earthquake victims expressed after the incident, "We thought we had forgotten the earthquake, but it has returned," and "This earthquake reminded us of the night of February 6."
