Footage has emerged of Narin Güran, who was killed in Diyarbakır, with her uncle Salim Güran, who was arrested in connection with the murder, at a wedding. In the footage, Salim Güran can be seen calling Narin and the little girl next to her. The uncle is seen putting his arm around Narin's shoulder, and when the little girl leaves, Narin awkwardly calls her friend to join them.

The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, has devastated the whole of Turkey. So far, 10 people, including the mother and uncle, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

FOOTAGE OF NARIN AND HER UNCLE AT A WEDDING EMERGES

Footage of Narin with her uncle Salim Güran at a wedding, who is the main suspect in the murder, has emerged. In the footage, it can be seen that Salim Güran called Narin and the little girl next to her to take a photo, and when the little girl left, Narin called her friend with embarrassment. At the end of the video, where the uncle put his arm around Narin's shoulder, Narin showed the video to her friend.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 21, when Narin Güran went to a Quran course in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district, she did not return home, so her family searched for her on their own. When the search yielded no results, Narin's father, Arif Güran, reported her missing at around 8:00 pm on the same day. As a result, numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses in the neighborhood and vehicles entering the village.

While the search efforts were ongoing, Narin Güran's brother E.G. (18) was detained due to bite marks on his arm. After the examination at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute, when it could not be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin, E.G. was released.

Subsequently, Narin's uncle, who is also the headman of the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was taken into custody. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his car matched the DNA samples on Narin's clothes, was arrested for "intentional murder" and "deprivation of liberty."

The search teams refocused on previously searched areas, and they conducted a search in the Eğertutmaz Stream, located 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, where Narin's lifeless body was found on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was thrown into the stream in a sack after being killed and covered with stones.
