Images of our soldier Celalettin Uyanık, who was martyred due to methane gas poisoning in the Pençe-Kilit operation area, have emerged from an operation conducted in the same cave four months ago. In the footage, the martyr is seen responding to a soldier who asked, "What are your last words before becoming a martyr?" by saying, "I am entering the cave voluntarily. If something happens to me, please help the contracted soldiers in the Turkish Armed Forces."

During the search operation for the body of Infantry Lieutenant Nuri Melih Bozkurt, who was martyred in 2021 due to gunfire from terrorists in the Pençe-Kilit Operation area, 19 of our soldiers were exposed to methane gas. Despite all interventions, 12 of our soldiers were martyred.

One of the 12 soldiers martyred due to methane gas poisoning in Northern Iraq was Infantry Contracted Private Celalettin Uyanık. Footage of Uyanık from 4 months ago during the operation in the same cave has emerged.
"IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ME..."
In the footage, a soldier is seen asking Martyr Uyanık, "Yes, my comrade, what are your last words before becoming a martyr?" Uyanık's response was heart-wrenching: "I am entering the cave voluntarily. If something happens to me, please help all the contracted soldiers in the Turkish Armed Forces."
THE MOMENTS HE READ THE QUR'AN HAVE ALSO EMERGED
Footage of Uyanık, who resided in the village of Dereyolu in the Mutki district and had been serving for 4 years, reading the Qur'an and saying, "If I become a martyr one day, brother, share this," has also emerged.
