The intoxicated woman disappeared without a trace in the sea she entered at midnight.

A young woman who went into the sea with her boyfriend, with whom she was drinking alcohol together on the beach in Samsun at midnight, disappeared. After the incident, the missing woman's boyfriend was taken into custody.

The incident occurred at night on 75th Year Boulevard in Yeşilyurt Neighborhood of Atakum district in Samsun. K.G., who met his girlfriend Zeynep A. 10 days ago, drank alcohol on the beach together and then went into the sea together. K.G. left the young woman in the sea and went out of the water for a toilet break.

After a while, K.G. returned and asked the police for help when he couldn't find his girlfriend in the sea and around. Zeynep A.'s bag and mobile phone were found by the sea. Diver police officers affiliated with the Samsun Police Department and Coast Guard teams conducted search operations in the sea all day to find Zeynep A., who disappeared in the raging waters of the Black Sea at midnight.

While the search operation was ongoing, Zeynep A.'s boyfriend K.G. was taken into custody by the Recep Tokur Police Station teams. K.G., who was referred to Samsun Courthouse today, was released after giving a statement to the prosecutor. K.G. said, "We went into the sea. She was drunk. Then she disappeared." The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
