The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that "no changes were made to the computer logs" regarding Tuttur.com. The individual who made this claim on social media has been arrested.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office made a statement regarding the allegations related to the lottery site Tuttur.com.
THE PERSON WHO RAISED THE ALLEGATION HAS BEEN ARRESTED
In the statement, the allegations that the site's personal data was deleted before the betting investigation process were denied. The prosecutor's office reported that Y.K., known by the pseudonym "pameranti," was arrested for the crime of "publicly disseminating misleading information."
WHAT WERE THOSE ALLEGATIONS?
A social media user with the pseudonym "pameranti" claimed that the data of Fenerbahçe football players who had memberships on Tuttur.com was deleted before the "betting investigation" process began. An investigation was initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding this matter.
Here is the statement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office;
"Due to the widespread public attention to the allegations that the membership information of users registered on the "www.tuttur.com" lottery site, which is under Saran Holding but no longer operates due to the cancellation of the online franchise agreement and its related licenses, was intervened, an investigation was initiated ex officio by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. During the investigation, in accordance with the judicial decision taken to reveal the material truth for and against, an on-site examination was conducted by the law enforcement's forensic teams on the computers and computer programs serving the "www.tuttur.com" lottery site, and it was determined in the report that no changes were made in the computers and computer programs serving the "www.tuttur.com" lottery site as alleged.
Following this determination, it was identified that the user with the pseudonym @pameranti who raised this allegation on the "X" social media platform was a person named Y.K., and a detention order was issued by the Magistrate's Court regarding the investigation conducted under the allegation of the crime of TCK m.217/A "Publicly disseminating misleading information." It is emphasized that no statements that could mislead, be unverified, or create different perceptions regarding the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which has gained wide public attention and concerns our country's football, should be taken into account; this is presented to the public's information.'
