One of Turkey's leading tourism regions, a fire broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel located in the Kartalkaya Ski Resort in Bolu during the night. According to initial reports, 66 people lost their lives, and 51 others were injured in the fire.

UNABLE TO REACH TURKMEN AND HIS FAMILY

The fire was brought under control after approximately 10 hours of intervention, and it was learned that journalist Nedim Türkmen, one of the writers of Sözcü newspaper, was also staying at the hotel where the tragedy occurred. It was announced that there had been no news from Türkmen, who was staying at the hotel with his family, for many hours.

In the following hours, sad news came from Türkmen and his family. It was announced that among the 66 people who lost their lives in the fire tragedy were Nedim Türkmen, his wife, and their two children.
