Turk Telekom announced that, in accordance with the decision of the Information Technologies and Communications Authority dated July 31, 2025, it can update its wholesale prices twice a year. The price increases, effective from January 1 and July 1, cannot exceed the ratio of the Producer Price Index (ÜFE) for the relevant period to the ÜFE for April 2025. The regulation will come into effect starting from July 1, 2026.
According to the statement made by Türk Telekom to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the one-time and monthly fees for wholesale services subject to regulation will be updated based on cost every year on January 1 and July 1.
KAP STATEMENT HAS ARRIVED
The company's KAP statement included the following expressions; "In accordance with the Board Decision dated 31.07.2025 and numbered 2025/DK-ETD/260 of the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK), a regulation has been made to update the wholesale fees of our company Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. in order to ensure predictability and flexibility in the sector and to encourage new investments.
PRICE INCREASES CAN BE MADE ON JANUARY 1 AND JULY 1
In this context; it has been decided that the one-time and monthly fees for the regulated services offered at the wholesale level by our company can be updated based on cost, effective from January 1 and July 1 each year.
HOW MUCH OF AN INCREASE CAN BE MADE?
In the tariff updates to be carried out by our company, an increase will be made that does not exceed the ratio of the most recently published Domestic Producer Price Index (ÜFE) by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) to the Domestic ÜFE for April 2025.
WILL BE VALID FROM JANUARY 1, 2026
The tariff updates to be made will be announced to the public at least one month before the effective date. This decision will be applied to updates that will come into effect as of 01.07.2026."
