The students' month-long exciting wait has come to an end. The results of the central exam conducted within the scope of the High School Transition System (LGS) held on June 15 were announced today.
719 STUDENTS ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS CORRECTLY
Out of 1 million 10 thousand 916 candidates who applied for the exam, 963 thousand 142 participated, resulting in a participation rate of 95.27%. According to the results of the central exam within the scope of LGS, 719 students answered all questions correctly, achieving a perfect score of 500.
PREFERENCES WILL BE MADE FROM E-SCHOOL BETWEEN JULY 14-24
The preference process will start on Monday, July 14, and will continue until 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 24. The placement results will be announced on August 4. Preference transactions will be carried out through e-School.
THERE ARE 5 SCHOOL RIGHTS IN LOCAL PLACEMENTS
High school placements will be made in three categories: local, central, and boarding schools. Students who do not take the exam will make their preferences according to 'local placement'. Local placements will be carried out based on address, school success score, and absenteeism criteria. A maximum of 5 school preferences can be made, provided that the first 3 schools are selected from the registration area where the residence address is located.
For high schools that admit students through an exam, the LGS score and percentile rank will be taken into account. Making a preference for boarding schools will be optional.
A "PARENT GUIDE" HAS BEEN PUBLISHED FOR THE PREFERENCE PROCESS
The Ministry of National Education has published a "Parent Guide" to support parents during this process. The guide includes suggestions for parents, stating, "Instead of being coercive and decision-making during the preference period, you can adopt an informative and guiding attitude." It warns against comparing children and emphasizes the importance of considering their developmental processes. The guide can be accessed from the website of the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services.
