Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Cem Demirkan, who was injured as a result of an IED explosion on July 4th in the Claw-Lock operation zone, was martyred while receiving treatment at Gülhane Training and Research Hospital.

Sad news came from the Claw-Lock operation area about Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Cem Demirkan, who was injured as a result of an IED explosion on July 4th. Despite the doctors' efforts at Gülhane Training and Research Hospital, Demirkan could not be saved and was martyred.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM MINISTER GÜLER

In his condolence message, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler stated the following: "Our heroic comrade was martyred on July 19, 2024. On behalf of myself and the members of the Ministry of National Defense, I extend my condolences and patience to the grieving family and our noble nation."
