A student in Kütahya, who had food stuck in her trachea, was saved by the school principal using the Heimlich maneuver. Reyhan Dönmez, a 16-year-old 9th-grade student at Yavuz Sultan Selim Special Education Application Center, had food lodged in her windpipe. The cafeteria staff first intervened when the student had difficulty breathing. When the staff was unsuccessful, they informed the school principal of the situation.
