60-year-old Elbeyli Dalgıç, who set out to go to the hospital after falling ill in Bilecik, lost his life as a result of a heart attack he suffered before he could get out of his vehicle in the hospital garden.
In the Osmaneli district of Bilecik, 60-year-old Elbeyli Dalgıç, who fell ill at home, managed to reach the hospital grounds in his own car. Before he had a chance to get out of the vehicle, the elderly man suffered a heart attack and lost his life at the wheel.
HE NOTICED HIS CONDITION
In the incident that occurred in the Osmaneli district of Bilecik, 60-year-old Elbeyli Dalgıç suddenly became unwell at home. As his condition worsened, Dalgıç decided to go to the hospital on his own and got behind the wheel of his car with license plate 34 PFC 174.
HE SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK AT THE WHEEL
Dalgıç, who managed to drive his car to Osmaneli Mustafa Selahattin Çetintaş State Hospital, collapsed as he entered the hospital grounds. Unable to get out of the car and step into the emergency room, the man suffered a heart attack at the wheel and remained motionless inside the vehicle.
TEAMS BROKE THE WINDOW TO INTERVENE
Health and security teams, noticing a person lying motionless inside the car, quickly attempted to intervene. Racing against time because the doors were locked, the teams broke the car window to reach Dalgıç. During the initial checks by health teams inside the vehicle, it was determined that 60-year-old Elbeyli Dalgıç had died as a result of a heart attack. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
