The man who was caught by the gendarmerie while trying to bury his murdered girlfriend took his own life.

Selçuk Şahin, who is alleged to have killed his girlfriend Sevinç Alemdar with whom he lived in a caravan in the Kıbrıscık district of Bolu, took his own life with a gun when the gendarmerie team arrived at the scene. A dug empty grave was found near the caravan.

HE SAID HIS GIRLFRIEND WAS SLEEPING

The incident occurred yesterday in the Cuma Stream area between the villages of Karacaören and Alemdar in Kıbrıscık district. Both married, Selçuk Şahin and Sevinç Alemdar started living together in a caravan 2.5 years ago. Relatives of Alemdar, who had not heard from her for a while, reported the situation to the gendarmerie. When the gendarmerie teams arrived at the area where the caravan was located, they were met by Selçuk Şahin. Şahin told the gendarmerie team that Alemdar was ill and sleeping in the caravan.

HE SUDDENLY ENTERED THE CARAVAN AND COMMITTED SUICIDE

Upon the gendarmerie's request to see Sevinç Alemdar, Şahin suddenly entered the caravan and took his own life with his own gun. During the examination conducted by the teams in the caravan, Sevinç Alemdar was found motionless in a pool of blood. A dug empty grave was found nearby during the search in the area. It was determined that Selçuk Şahin had planned to bury Sevinç Alemdar, whom he had killed.

While the investigation into the incident continues, it was learned that Selçuk Şahin's wife lives in Eskişehir and Sevinç Alemdar lives in Bursa. The bodies of Şahin and Alemdar were sent to their hometowns for burial.
