The Istanbul Governorship announced that the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line's Taksim Station and the F1 Taksim–Kabataş Funicular Line will be closed from 3:00 PM today until further notice.
With the decision of the Istanbul Governorship, the Taksim station of the M2 Yenikapı–Hacıosman Metro Line and the F1 Taksim–Kabataş Funicular Line have been closed. It was stated that passengers can use alternative entrances and exits.
TAKSIM STATION AND FUNICULAR LINE WILL BE CLOSED
Metro Istanbul announced that in accordance with the decision of the Istanbul Governorship, the Taksim station of the Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line and the Taksim-Kabataş Funicular Line will be closed for operation starting from 15:00 today until further notice.
In a statement made on the social media account of the US-based X company, Metro Istanbul noted: "In accordance with the decision of the Istanbul Governorship, as of 15:00 on Tuesday, November 25, until further notice, our Taksim station of the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line and our F1 Taksim-Kabataş Funicular Line will be closed for operation. The exit of our Şişhane station to İstiklal Street will be closed for passenger use. Our passengers can use the other entrances and exits of the station. Our vehicles will continue their service without stopping at Taksim station."
