Galatasaray generated over 200 million lira in revenue from the retro jerseys it put up for sale. The yellow-red team will use this income during the transfer period.
The Super League giant Galatasaray has re-released the jerseys worn during the 26-27 season for sale as part of a 'retro' campaign.
OVER 200 MILLION EUROS IN REVENUE
The yellow-red team's jerseys sold nearly 90,000 units in just 3 days. Following these sales, over 200 million liras entered Galatasaray's coffers. Fans quickly depleted the stock of the striped jersey worn during the period when the UEFA Cup was won.
ADDITIONAL BUDGET FOR TRANSFERS WILL BE PROVIDED
This revenue generated by Galatasaray will be added to the budget for transfers that will take place in January. The management aims to multiply the cash in hand in a short period as the revenue increases.
