The Deputy Chairman of the MHP, Feti Yıldız, announced that they have withdrawn their complaint against former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu regarding the case opened for the crime of "praising the crime and the criminal" upon their complaints.

MHP WITHDREW ITS COMPLAINT AGAINST KILIÇDAROĞLU

The MHP has withdrawn its complaints in the case opened against former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu for the crime of "praising the crime and the criminal." The statement regarding the matter was made by MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız. In his written statement, Yıldız reminded that a lawsuit was filed against Kılıçdaroğlu for the crime of "praising the crime and the criminal" based on the complaint petition of the MHP Deputy Chairmen on February 5, 2020.

INSTRUCTION CAME FROM BAHÇELİ

Recalling that the hearing of the case, which is being heard by the Ankara 35th Heavy Penal Court, has been postponed to April 10, 2025, Yıldız stated, "Our Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, has instructed that the matter of withdrawing our verbal complaint against the former Chairman of the Republican People's Party, Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, should be submitted to the court with a petition, in line with the determined policy for a Terror-Free Turkey and regional peace."

In his statement, Yıldız also included the petition they submitted to the Ankara 35th Heavy Penal Court. The petition reminded that there are detailed regulations to prevent the abuse of rights and freedoms regarding freedom of thought, both in national and universal law, and stated that the complaint against Kılıçdaroğlu has been withdrawn.
