The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has added new items to its list of foods that pose a health risk. The announced list revealed that food terrorists, driven by greed, have been found to mix single-hoofed meat, offal, and mechanically separated poultry meat into beef sausages.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to expose foods that endanger the health of millions of citizens. In the latest update to the 'Foods Subject to Imitation or Adulteration' list on the ministry's website, sausage companies that were found to be using products in violation of regulations during inspections were shared.
NUMBER OF PRODUCTS INCREASED TO 195
Five products were added to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's List of Foods That Endanger Health, bringing the total number of products on this list to 195. The new list included medicinal active ingredients found in honey herbal paste and chocolate. In red pepper flakes, a dye not permitted for use in food was detected, while a medicinal active ingredient was found in flavored carbonated beverages.
HORSE MEAT DETECTED IN SAUSAGE
In the "Kasap Geleneksel" brand sausage produced by Yıldırım Gıda in Bağcılar, Istanbul, horse meat was found in heat-treated sausage. In the sausage produced by Beypa Gıda in Osmaniye, poultry meat and offal-head meat were observed. Mechanically separated poultry meat was mixed into chicken sausages produced by Sevimoğlu Sucukları and Emrebey Et from Afyonkarahisar.
