The monster who punched a 7-year-old child for making noise has been arrested.

A suspect who was detained for allegedly attacking a 7-year-old child playing in Tuzla has been arrested.

According to the investigations conducted by the Istanbul Police Department regarding the footage shared on some social media platforms today, it was determined that 7-year-old B.E.A. was attacked by an individual while playing in the parking lot of a shopping center in Şifa Neighborhood on the evening of October 6.

It was learned that the child, who was taken to the hospital after the attack, was not in life-threatening condition, and the identified 19-year-old suspect A.K. was captured on October 8. As a result of the investigation, it was established that the suspect carried out the attack because he was disturbed by the noise made by the children. After the procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the judicial authorities for the crime of "intentional injury" and was arrested on October 9.

ARRESTED FOR INTENTIONAL INJURY

In a statement made by the Istanbul Police Department regarding the incident, the following expressions were included:

"In the investigations conducted regarding the footage shared on some social media platforms on 06.11.2024, it was determined that B.E.A., a minor playing in the parking lot of a shopping center located in Şifa Neighborhood of Tuzla district, was attacked by an individual, and it was understood that the minor taken to the hospital was not in life-threatening condition. During the ongoing investigations, the suspect identified as A.K. was captured on 08.10.2024, and it was understood that the suspect carried out the incident because he was disturbed by the noise made by the children. The captured suspect was arrested by the judicial authorities to which he was referred for the crime of "intentional injury" and was delivered to the Correctional Institution."
