The murderer who killed his niece's husband, who married in secret, has been caught.

Volkan A., the 39-year-old uncle of Enes Yiğit Toraman, who was stabbed to death by his rival on a private public bus in Karamürsel district of Kocaeli, has been sent to the courthouse.

The incident occurred yesterday evening in the 4 July neighborhood of Karamürsel district. Enes Yiğit Toraman, who boarded the vehicle to go home from the Karamürsel Bus Station, the first stop of the private public buses, was attacked with a knife by his uncle-in-law Volkan A., who boarded the bus at the 4 July stop. While Toraman was left bleeding in the vehicle, Volkan A. escaped through the back door of the bus. Enes Yiğit Toraman, who was taken to Karamürsel State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved.

Police teams, who initiated an investigation into the incident, captured Volkan A. shortly after in Gölcük district. While the attacker was taken into custody, the details of the incident also emerged. It was learned that Volkan A.'s niece had eloped with Enes Yiğit Toraman, which caused a feud between them. It was also determined that Volkan A. and Enes Yiğit Toraman had argued over the phone the day before the incident. It was found that Volkan A. had boarded the same bus by following Enes Yiğit Toraman.

On the other hand, the incident was captured by the security camera of the private public bus. The footage shows the attacker Volkan A. boarding the bus, paying his fare, calmly moving to the back, and suddenly attacking Toraman with a knife. Volkan A., who was brought to the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department and whose procedures were completed, was sent to Karamürsel Courthouse.
