A claim has emerged that will create a stir regarding 19-year-old Semih Çelik, who murdered two young girls in Istanbul and then committed suicide by jumping from the walls. It was stated that after committing his first murder, that is, after killing Ayşenur Halil, Çelik called the police to report himself and left the house after leaving the key on the door. The question remains as to why Çelik was not apprehended during the time he met with İkbal Uzuner and went to the walls.

On Friday at around 16:00 in the Derviş Ali neighborhood of Fatih, Istanbul, butcher Semih Çelik (19) murdered İkbal Uzuner (19) and Ayşenur Halil (19). Semih Çelik, who climbed onto the Edirnekapı walls, beheaded İkbal Uzuner and threw her head down. Afterward, the suspect, who tied a rope around his neck, jumped off the walls and ended his life.

Afterward, questions arose about why Çelik, who met with İkbal Uzuner and headed towards the walls, was not captured despite his location being identified.

"OUR PSYCHOLOGY HAS BEEN DISTURBED SINCE FRIDAY"

A person working in real estate in the neighborhood said, "Our psychology has been disturbed since Friday. This place is very crowded, and the people here are not used to such incidents. Such events do not happen here; this is like our village. Everyone knows each other here."

"WE HAVEN'T SEEN THE FATHER SINCE THE FUNERAL"

While expressing that he does not see the family of the wall murderer Semih Çelik very often, a tradesman states that father A.Ç. did not seem anxious after learning about the incident. The tradesman mentions that they have not seen A.Ç. since the funeral, saying, "It seems to us that they will probably move soon. It would be better for them in a place like this."
