The mystery surrounding the deaths of two young girls found with gunshot wounds to their heads has been unveiled.

In a horrifying incident that occurred in Tekirdağ yesterday, two young girls named 15-year-old Yağmur E. and Rabia Kübra Y. were found shot in the head at home.

THERE WAS NO THIRD PERSON IN THE HOUSE

According to the statement from the Tekirdağ Governorship, the incident took place on November 15, 2024, around 1:00 PM. In a house, two young girls named Yağmur E. and Rabia Kübra Y. were found shot with a firearm. Upon receiving the notification, law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene determined that there was no third person in the house.

THE GUN WAS UNLICENSED

In the statement from the governorship, it was expressed that only the girls were present in the house during the incident and that Yağmur E.'s family was at work. It was noted that the family became aware of the incident by directing their neighbors when they could not reach their daughters.

SHE SHOT HER FRIEND FIRST, THEN TOOK HER OWN LIFE

In a statement made by the Çorlu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was reported that the camera recordings at the scene were being examined, and forensic examinations and gunshot residue tests were being conducted. According to initial findings, it is believed that Rabia Kübra Y. shot Yağmur E. and then took her own life with the same gun.

In the statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated: "In the examination of the phone of the deceased individual named Y.E., it was determined that she last spoke with an individual named Y.A. who resides in Kastamonu province.

In the summary of Y.A.'s statement taken by law enforcement, it was mentioned that they started communicating with Y.E. via social media about three months ago, that Y.E. had problems in her life, that she learned to use a gun to harm herself, and that she said she would shoot herself with her father's gun at home. It was also stated that during their last phone call at 10:30 on the day of the incident, Y.E. said she would kill herself and that she would call her friend R.K.Y. to help her with this.

When examined with the investigation and existing evidence, it is understood that there was no animosity between Y.E. and R.K.Y. prior to the incident, and that there was no third person involved in the incident when the camera footage was reviewed.
