An astonishing theft incident occurred in the Bayraklı district of İzmir. The 35-year-old neighbor broke the wall and after stealing all the belongings, he plastered the wall again and left.

In the event that took place in the Postacılar neighborhood of the district, Ahmet Sağlam (29), who was preparing for marriage and living with his family, worked tirelessly day and night to buy new furniture for his home. Sağlam, who is preparing to get married in February 2025, had no shortage of items.

BROKE THE WALL, STOLE ALL THE BELONGINGS

According to allegations, F.C., the 35-year-old neighbor living right next to the house where new furniture was purchased, resorted to a method that would not come to the devil's mind. The suspect, who first broke his own wall with a sledgehammer, then broke into Ahmet Sağlam's house by breaking the wall of the house he was preparing to marry. The 35-year-old neighbor carried everything that was inside the house through the wall he opened to his own home.

PLASTERED THE WALL AND DISAPPEARED

In the house, two televisions, white goods, furniture, carpets, small household appliances, and everything that could be in a house were stolen. After finishing his job and carrying the belongings to his own home, neighbor F.C. then plastered the wall of the house, exited through the kitchen door, and disappeared.

Ahmet Sağlam's sister, who came home, was shocked. First, family members arrived at the house, and then the police were notified. When the police arrived at the house, they immediately took fingerprints.

"OUR 35-YEAR-OLD NEIGHBOR"

Ahmet Sağlam's brother, Ali Sağlam (25), stated that they suspected their neighbors when they saw the plastered wall, and explained that the wall was broken when they entered the other house with the police.

Ali Sağlam, who mentioned that they suffered a loss of 800-900 thousand TL, said, "The incident happened approximately 15-16 days ago. My sister came home to ventilate. Then she informed us. He broke the wall from the adjacent building, and he lives right next door. He steals the belongings, then he plasters the wall he broke and escapes from the back balcony. Our refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, small household appliances, two sofa sets, and two televisions are gone. He is our 35-year-old neighbor. We never expected such things from him. We grew up in his hands, it's a shame. I have nothing more to say. Not just us, the whole neighborhood is in shock. We still can't believe what he did. He reached out to me, but I never responded. We filed a complaint. All fingerprints and everything were taken."

İzmir police are now searching everywhere for the suspect neighbor F.C.
