A new era is starting in vehicle insurance. From December 5th onwards, there is an important rule you need to know when purchasing a car. With the new regulation, it will be mandatory to obtain traffic insurance on the same day for vehicle sales starting from December 5th.

According to the Constitutional Court's decision, the option to obtain an insurance policy within 15 days after the vehicle is sold will be eliminated.
With this implementation, it will be mandatory for traffic insurance to be completed on the day the vehicle sale occurs.
If the insurance is postponed to the next day, a 5% surcharge will be added to the policy.
If the vehicle sale is conducted at a notary on duty over the weekend, the insurance process will need to be completed on the first business day following the sale.
The Constitutional Court had annulled the article stating, "In the event of a change in the operator of the insured vehicle, the transferring party must inform the insurer of the situation within 15 days."
