In the election held at TÜSİAD's Ordinary General Assembly, Ozan Diren was elected as the new president with 165 votes. Ömer Aras was reappointed as the Chairman of the TÜSİAD High Advisory Council (YİK).
In the Ordinary General Assembly of the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TÜSİAD), Ozan Diren was elected as the president. Diren became the new president of TÜSİAD by receiving 165 of the votes cast at the general assembly.
YIK PRESIDENT ÖMER ARAS REELECTED
As a result of the voting at the general assembly, Ömer Aras was reelected as the Chairman of the TÜSİAD High Advisory Council (YIK). The new structure of the YIK was also clarified at the general assembly.
In the new term, Orhan Turan, Ömer Koç, Arzuhan Doğan Yalçındağ, and Ümit Boyner will take on the roles of Vice Chairmen of TÜSİAD YIK.
EMPHASIS ON "A STRONGER AND MORE COMPETITIVE ECONOMY"
After the general assembly, Ozan Diren stated regarding his new role, "I am excited about our new task. We will work with all our strength." Diren emphasized that the Turkish economy needs to achieve a stronger and more competitive structure, highlighting the need for an economic equation that prioritizes development.
WHO IS OZAN DİREN?
Ozan Diren serves as a Board Member of Diren Holding while also holding the position of CEO of DİMES, one of Turkey's leading beverage brands.
Ozan Diren started his career at DİMES during his university years, taking active roles in various departments and at all levels within the company. Continuing his education simultaneously, Diren graduated from the Industrial Engineering department of ITU in 1997. In 1999, he completed his master's degree in marketing at the University of Hartford in the USA. He then finished the Finance Specialization Program at Istanbul University Institute of Business Economics. Since 2024, Ozan Diren has also been serving as the Vice Chairman of the TÜSİAD Board of Directors.
